The world’s largest martial arts organization returns to the iconic Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand, on August 1 for another explosive installment of its weekly event series.

ONE Friday Fights 118 will broadcast live from the legendary venue in Asia primetime. There, two dozen athletes across Muay Thai, kickboxing, and MMA will vie for a life-changing US$100,000 contract and a spot on ONE Championship’s main roster.

In the main event, Thai striking sensation Worapon Lukjaoporongtom will face Turkish powerhouse Soner “Golden Boy” Sen in a compelling 142-pound Muay Thai trilogy. The series is dead-even at 1-1, with Sen winning their first bout and Worapon scoring redemption in the second.

The 22-year-old Worapon is driven by dreams of ONE World Championship glory, with aspirations to follow former ONE Flyweight Muay Thai World Champion Rodtang “The Iron Man” Jitmuangnon and ONE Featherweight Muay Thai World Champion Tawanchai PK Saenchai into the global spotlight.

The 29-year-old Sen brings devastating finishing ability to this pivotal contest. He transformed his life through Muay Thai, going from an overweight kid to a confident striker who has found focus and purpose training at Team Mehdi Zatout. This international showdown promises fireworks as both fighters hunt for the contract that could change everything.

The co-main event features an intriguing 141-pound Muay Thai showdown between Suksawat PK Saenchai and rising prospect Kongkula Jitmuangnon. The 24-year-old Suksawat seeks redemption after a first-round knockout loss in his ONE debut, with the PK Saenchai fighter eager to showcase the power that helped him support his family through tough times.

Kongkula, on the other hand, brings youth and momentum to the contest. The 19-year-old recently moved to the renowned Jitmuangnon Gym, where he aims to chase success like other Thai stars. His first-round knockout victory over Mardsing Khaolakmuaythai in his ONE debut announced his arrival as a serious contender in the weekly series.

In featured bantamweight Muay Thai action, English standout Otis Waghorn will square off with French-Moroccan striker Hakim Bah in an international clash of styles. Waghorn bounced back from early adversity in his ONE career but is looking to rebuild after a recent setback.

The 28-year-old Bah brings an aggressive pressure fighting style that he believes is crucial for success. He moved to Thailand specifically for this opportunity, having made significant sacrifices to chase his ONE Championship dream. Both fighters possess the finishing ability and hunger needed to steal the show.

The card also features compelling MMA action as Team Lakay’s Carlos Alvarez takes on Mongolian-Russian grappler Nachyn “Samurai” Sat in featherweight competition. Alvarez, who grew up on a farm before joining the legendary Team Lakay, could be one win away from a life-changing contract.

Additionally, rising talents from across the globe will showcase their skills, including Japan’s Kojiro Shiba facing Laos’ Mon Yoddhaxay in 119-pound kickboxing action, highlighting the international depth of talent competing for their shot on the global stage.

The diverse lineup promises non-stop action across multiple martial arts disciplines, with each fighter hungry to secure their place on ONE’s main roster.
