The Copa America 2024 draw ceremony has concluded. Brazil are grouped with Colombia and Paraguay (Group D), while Argentina will open the tournament on June 20 against the winner of a Canada-Trinidad and Tobago play-off.

The second day of the New Zealand vs Bangladesh second Test was washed out. The Indian men's junior hockey team lost its match against Spain in the FIH Men's Junior Hockey World Cup 2023. Meanwhile, the 13th edition of Big Bash League kicked off with Brisbane Heat winning the opening game against Melbourne Stars. Jamshedpur and Chennaiyin played out a 2-2 draw in the Indian Super League, and there was another stalemate in the day - in Pro Kabaddi League between Bengal Warriors and Jaipur Pink Panthers (28-28).
