Faf du Plessis, who played second-fiddle to the "King" on the night, gave him a bear hug, after which the Indian got down on his knees, arms stretched wide soaking all the applause that ricocheted around the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium. Kohli's innings also saw him equal Chris Gayle's record of six centuries in the competition.
