Once Kagiso Rabada came into the attack, he snapped the wicket of the in-form Virat Kohli and then a comical run-out of Mohammed Siraj brought India nine down as Mukesh Kumar was the final wicket to fall for India's innings to falter at 153.

The visitors have a handy lead of 98 runs but the Newlands track could get better to bat on as the day progresses.
