Dutch racer Max Verstappen continued his march toward world title as he picked up his 16th win of the season in the 2023 Mexican Grand Prix. Verstappen started from third in the grid behind Ferrari duo Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz but had already overtaken them both by turn three in the first lap. Leclerc, eventually, finished third despite sustaining damage from a collision with Sergio Perez on the first turn of the race, while Sainz dropped down to fourth. Seven-time world champion Lewis Hamilton, who recorded the fastest lap of the race, finished second behind the runaway leader.
