Rwanda made light work of Malawi in match 6 of ICC Women's T20 World Cup Africa Qualifier Division 2 at the Botswana Cricket Association Oval 2, Gaborone on Monday, July 21.
Rwanda had won the toss and elected to bat first and batted well to post 138 before defending it with ease.

Gisele Ishimwe top scored for Rwanda with a slow 42 to take her team to 138/6. Malawi new ball bowler Sugeni Kananji picked two wickets for just 22 runs in her four overs.
Malawi neither could score runs nor could they save their wickets and ended up with only 71/9.
The ICC Women’s T20 World Cup Africa Qualifier Division 2, the first step for African nations aiming for the 2026 ICC Women's T20 World Cup in England, commences in Gaborone, Botswana. Eight African national teams compete from 20 to 26 July 2025.
To be held over seven days, this tournament brings together eight African nations. Following the conclusion of the event, featuring 20 matches, the top two teams — the winners and runners-up of this division — will advance to the Africa Division 1 Qualifier.
