This young man is known to have won several titles, walked in various fashion shows, and appeared in multiple TV serials and advertisements. It was during his trip to Calcutta with his father that Jaspal Singh Sehgal saw a ramp show supported by youngsters in crazy numbers to participate in the Mr. India contest. The majority were Punjabis, with zero Sikhs. This is when he saw the opportunity to outshine, and the dream of being the first Sikh model kindled in his eyes.
Being a Sikh boy, Jaspal Singh Sehgal was welcomed with discouraging remarks; however, he decided not to throw in the towel due to these cynical remarks, and he started the process to enter the pageant world. It was in the year 2002 when he bagged first runner-up at Grasim Mr. India in Bangalore. Jaspal Singh Sehgal then won Mr. Tourism International 2003-04 and was declared the Best Dressed Model for wearing the best national costume.
Now, his life changed 360°. The guy with the turban has already made his mark in the modelling world. He then entered the television industry and was seen in shows like Maharaja Ranjit Singh, 21 Sarghari, and Bade Acche Lagte Hai. It's been two decades since Jaspal Singh Sehgal marked his foray into modeling, and even today he is held in high regard. Recently, he walked the ramp for Lakmé Fashion Week for an international designer, FDCI, and the International Fashion School.
