Confer Anna Bhau With Bharat Ratna: Telangana CM KCR

BRS National President and Chief Minister K. to announce Bharat Ratna to Annabhav Sathe. Chandrasekhar Rao demanded. On the occasion of Sathe's 103rd birth anniversary, CM KCR participated and addressed a public meeting organized in Wategaon, Maharashtra on Tuesday. Matangi is a famous Dalit poet. He said that the country's rulers did not give proper recognition to the nation's proud public poet, Annabhav Sathe. CM KCR demanded the central government to recognize Annabhav Sathe, a Dalit child born in an untouchable caste and a darling of the country's native Matangi community, as the jewel of India.

He said that as a communist and an Ambedkarist, he continuously worked for the establishment of the same society throughout his life. He said that there are many common Shayris, but Sathe has got the honor of getting special recognition as Lok Sahari. He said that he was with the people till the end of his life without ever backing down for the theory and goal he believed in.

The CM reminded that a country like Russia recognized Sathe and the Prime Minister of that country invited him and honored him. He said there is a statue of Sathe in the Russian library. Sathe is known as Indian Maxim Gorke. But he said that it is regrettable that the rulers of India did not recognize Sathe, who was so famous, and did not take initiatives to introduce his literature to the world.

The CM asked the Maharashtra and Central governments to recognize Sathe's sacrifices. It was clarified that all their works should be translated in all the languages of India and the Sate Vishwa Janina philosophy should be introduced at the national and international level. "On this occasion, I only request Maharashtra CM Shinde and his cabinet. Respecting Sathe means respecting ourselves and respecting our country," CM KCR said.

He said that the Matangi community, where Annabhav Sathe was born, are natives of the country. They are said to be descendants of Matangi Mahamuni. On this occasion, CM KCR explained the history and genealogy of the Matangi clan of the legendary era. Mahakavi Kalidasa glorified the greatness of Matangi society. Kalidasa said that Matangi, the origin of musical literature, was described as Jnana Saraswati. CM KCR recited Kalidasa's sloka "Manikya Veenamupalalayantim, Madalasam Manjula Vagvilasam, Mahendra Neeladyuti Komalangim, Matanga Kanyam Manasa Smarami" and praised the great man of Matangi Samaj.

They demanded PM Modi to give Bharat Ratna title to Annabhav Sathe. The people who participated in the meeting supported KCR's demand by clapping. CM KCR expressed his concern that the Maharashtra government is not giving proper support and recognition to the Matangi community and they are not providing participation in the legislative assemblies as public representatives as MLAs. CM KCR has made it clear that the BRS party will fully support the Matangi community and will provide all kinds of recognition and assistance when the time comes. KCR ended the speech with the slogans of Jai Bhim, Jai Annabhav Sathe, Jai Bharat.

On this occasion, Annabhav Sathe's statue and literature were presented to Chief Minister KCR by his family members.

Annabhav Sathe's grandson Sachin Bhav Sathe and Sachin Sathe's mother Savitribhai Sathe were present in the assembly. Maharashtra BRS Incharge K. Vamsidhar Rao, Haribav Rathore, Qadir Maulana, Bhanudas Murkute, Ghan Shyam Shelar, Bhagirath Balke, BJ Deshmukh, Shankaranna Donge, Malik Kadam, MLA Jeevan Reddy, Civil Supply Corporation Chairman Ravinder Singh Yash Pal Binge and others participated.
