Eight people were injured on Saturday evening after an explosion takes place at a sponge iron factory in West Bengal's Bankura district.
The blast happened in an electric transformer in the factory, located in Barjora, around 7.30 pm.
The eight injured were admitted to a hospital nearby for medical attention.
According to PTI, the locals informed that two of the injured received critical burn injuries in the accident, but their conditions were stable.
