Delhi: Airport Gets Hoax Bomb Threat Call For SpiceJet Flight From Darbhanga, Alert Issued

In light of the situation, full emergency was declared at Indira Gandhi International (IGI) Airport at 5.50 pm today. After the initial inquiry, it turned out to be a hoax bomb threat.However, in a bid to ensure safety for all passengers, all necessary protocols were followed.

Today, following a bomb threat call, a high alert was issued at the Indira Gandhi International Airport. The threat was reportedly received for a Darbhanga to Delhi SpiceJet flight. After initial inquiry, it turned out to be a hoax bomb threat.However, in a bid to ensure safety for all passengers, all necessary protocols were followed.

In light of the situation, full emergency was declared at 5.50 pm today.

The flight reportedly landed at the airport at 6.04 pm.

The passengers were deboarded and the aircraft was parked in isolation bay for screening.
