12 Kanwariyas Injured As Pickup Van Swerves To Avoid Biker In Teetro

In a mishap in the Teetro area, a total of 12 kanwariyas, devotees of Lord Shiva, sustained injuries when the pickup van they were traveling in veered off the road to avoid colliding with a biker. The incident occurred while the group was en route from Dubhar Kishanpura village to Haridwar, as confirmed by SP Dehat Sagar Jain.

As the pickup van approached Chandpura village, the driver suddenly applied the brakes to prevent a potential collision with the biker, causing the passengers to be thrown off balance and resulting in injuries. The injured kanwariyas suffered fractures in their hands and legs, Jain added.

Prompt assistance was provided by passersby, who promptly rushed the injured individuals to the nearby primary health center. Subsequently, those with more severe injuries were referred to the Saharanpur district hospital for further medical attention, informed the SP.
