Amid hundreds of casualties in an all-out offensive on Israel by Palestinian terrorist group Hamas, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Saturday said the nation is at war and will emerge victorious.
The Hamas has fired around at least 2,000 rockets into Israel which have caused widespread loss of life and property across the country.
Hamas terrorists have also infiltrated into Israel and gunfights are going on at several locations. The Israeli-Palestinian border is also lit up with ongoing fighting as the Palestinian terrorists groups aligned with the Hamas have joined the offensive.
"Citizens of Israel, we are at war and we will win. The enemy will pay a price like they have never known before. First of all, I instructed to cleanse the settlements of the terrorists who had infiltrated them. At the same time, I ordered an extensive reserve mobilisation," said Netanyahu in Hebrew.

Following the all-out Hamas offensive on Israel, the Israel Air Force (IAF) has started carrying out airstrikes on Hamas-associated targets in the Gaza Strip, the part of the Palestinian territories governed by the terrorist group Hamas.
The Times of Israel has reported that at least six deaths and around 200 casualties are confirmed in Israel in the ongoing Hamas offensive.
The paper also reported that gunfights between the Israeli forces and the Palestinian terrorists are going on in and around the towns of Kfar Aza, Sderot, Sufa, Nahal Oz, Magen, Be’eri and the Re’im military base.
The Hamas is an Iran-backed designated terrorist group that's the largest among Palestinian terrorist groups. It controls Gaza, which is also home to several other Palestinian terrorist groups. The Hamas as well as other Palestinian terrorist groups like the Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) are committed to the destruction of Israel.
