Egyptian authorities have unveiled recently-discovered workshops to make mummies in ancient Egypt and tombs to the public. The discoveries were at Saqqara, part of ancient Egyptian capital Memphis, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. A top official said the workshops used to mummify humans and sacred animals date back to the 30th Pharaonic Dynasty 380 BC to 343 BC and Ptolemaic period 305 BC to 30 BC.
