Filmmaker Mandar Sudhakar Khare To Direct His Most Ambitious Marathi Film? Here's What We Know!

The time has changed, and we all have witnessed how regional cinema has been at par with mainstream Bollywood films. Whether it is South cinema, Gujarati or Marathi cinema, the viewers prefer to watch high-end content films. Amidst all this, new-age filmmaker Mandar Sudhakar Khare is ready to make a never-seen-before visual spectacle in the Marathi language.  

Before getting into the details, let us know about Mandar's journey towards becoming a filmmaker. The Pune-based director was a former engineer and a photographer before he decided to pursue a career in film direction. Having worked at the notable Storm Fashion Company as a fashion photographer, Mandar also has an excellent knowledge of cinematography. 

The filmmaker's first project was the 2015 film 'Deool Band' after which he worked on the biggest films like 'Chhichhore', 'RRR' and 'Brahmastra'. Now that Mandar has skilled himself as a prolific director, his debut directorial project 'Perfect Strangers' will see the light soon. The web series is said to stream on an OTT giant soon. Revolving around the story of today's youth, 'Perfect Strangers' is jointly directed by Akshata Gaigaware.  

Coming back to his upcoming directorial, there is a rumour that Mandar Sudhakar Khare is working on his ambitious Marathi project. While the details are yet to be unveiled, our close sources suggest that the film will be shot at a grand scale and will feature noteworthy actors from the industry. More so, we hear that the untitled film will also be dubbed in the Hindi language.  

The director has already worked on cinematic spectacles in the past. And it seems that he is looking forward to taking off with his second project after the release of 'Perfect Strangers'. A true movie buff that he is, Mandar has always dreamt of making a larger-than-life cinema.  

Currently, the debut filmmaker is busy with 'Perfect Strangers'. Once the series starts streaming on the digital space, we shall know about his next move.
