After much anticipation, the Sivakartikeyan starrer ‘Ayalaan’ has now been released in theatres. The film has paid tribute to Captain Vijayakanth and this move has made fans fall even more in love with the film.
This Ravikumar directorial paid tribute to the late Tamil superstar, Vijayakanth. In the title card of the film, the makers paid tribute to the actor. They shared a young picture of the actor and wrote, “Remembering Forever, KJR & FAMILY, SIVAKARTHIKEYAN & FAMILY, TEAM AYALAAN. This gesture has fans lauding the makers. They paid their respects to the actor with this gesture.
This move comes after actor Sivakarthikeyan was criticized for not paying his respects to Vijayakanth in person. The actor received flak for this on social media. Vijayakanth passed away on December 28. The actor was in Chennai at that time. Following the criticism, Sivakarthikeyan visited Vijayakanth’s house on January 6 along with his wife, Arthi, at the residence. He paid a floral tribute to the late actor. He met the actor’s wife and children and talked to them about their loss.

‘Ayalaan’ is a Tamil science fiction film. The movie garnered attention since its trailer was released because people drew parallels to the film from other sci-fi movies made in Hollywood. The film revolves around an alien who happens to visit Earth. During his visit, he bonds with humans. However, scientists chase him for their research.
‘Ayalaan’ stars Sivakarthikeyan, Siddharth, Rakul Preet Singh, Isha Koppikar, and Sharad Kelkar in lead roles. Music maestro, A.R Rahman composed the music for the film.
