Actor Parambrata Chatterjee got married to his longtime girlfriend Piya Chakraborty in an intimate ceremony. On Monday, the 'Kahaani' actor shared pics with his wife on his Instagram handle.
Piya is a mental health activist and singer. She was the former wife of composer-singer Anupam Roy.
In the pics shared by Parambrata, we can see the couple beaming with joy as they sign a document (presumably a marriage certificate). The 'Aranyak' actor was in a saffron kurta with a jacket while his wife Piya was in a white and red saree.
Sharing the post, Parambrata Chatterjee wrote, “Let us go then, you and I When the evening is spread out against the sky… “This is it.''

Congratulatory messages poured in for the couple as soon as the actor shared the post. From Konkona Sensharma, Seema Pahwa, and Raima Sen, to Sohini Sarkar and Subhashree Ganguly, several celebs wished Parambrata and Piya.
Though there were reports of Parambrata and Piya dating each other, but they never admitted their relationship.
In 2021, when Piya and Anupam got divorced, there was a buzz that the former took the decision as she was in love with Parambrata. But the actor denied it at that time.
Apart from featuring in Bengali films, Parambrata has also worked in Bollywood. He made his Hindi film debut in the 2012 film 'Kahaani' opposite Vidya Balan. He was highly praised for his role in the film. Later, he starred with Anushka Sharma in 'Pari' and 'Bulbbul'. Parambrata was also seen in 'Aranyak' with Raveena Tandon. He was also part of 'Mumbai Diaries Season 2'.
