HBO Confirms New 'Game Of Thrones' Spin-Off 'A Knight Of The Seven Kingdoms: The Hedge Knight' Is In The Works

'A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms: The Hedge Knight' will be set a century before the happenings of 'Game Of Thrones' and decades after 'House Of The Dragon.'

After having a successful first spin-off prequel to the 'Game Of Thrones' with 'House Of The Dragon,' it looks like George R.R. Martin's fantasy realm is set to further expand on the small screens. 

CEO Casey Bloys, also HBO's executive, who is enjoying the success of 'Succession' at award ceremonies, shared significant insights in a recent interview with The Wrap with regards to the upcoming 'Game of Thrones' spin-off series titled, 'A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms: The Hedge Knight.'

A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms: The Hedge Knight' will be based on three novels from the 'Tales Of Dunk and Egg' series, including 1998's 'The Hedge Knight,' 2003's 'The Sworn Sword,' and 2010's 'The Mystery Knight.' The timeline of the series will be set a century before the happenings of 'Game Of Thrones' and decades after 'House Of The Dragon'.

Casey Bloys addressed reports which are stating that there are several 'Game of Thrones' spin-offs in the development process. He clarified that while those projects are still in progress, the only ones that have officially been confirmed and approved 'House of the Dragon 2' and 'The Hedge Knight.' Additionally, he stated that there are many other projects lined up but as of now, there are no significant updates to report on them.

But, official announcements regarding these are highly-awaited.
