The second song from 'Dunki' titled 'Nikle The Kabhi Hum Ghar Se' was released today by the makers. Singer Sonu Nigam has lent his melodious voice to this soulful song. Lyrics are penned by Javed Akhtar and composed by Pritam.

'Dunki's musical journey started with Dunki Drop 2, 'Lutt Putt Gaya' song that featured Shah Rukh Khan and Taapsee Pannu. Earlier, Sonu Nigam had crooned some really beautiful songs for Shah Rukh in his movies. Fans have been eagerly waiting to witness the collaboration of SRK and Sonu Nigam as the latter delivered magnetic melodies in the 'Jawan's actor's movies in the past.

Dunki: Drop 3- 'Nikle The Kabhi Hum Ghar Se' song is filled with emotions. One who is separated from their roots and is settled abroad can relate to it while listening to his heartwarming track.

Directed by Rajkumar Hirani, 'Dunki' is about love and friendship, heartbreaks and a lot more. The song,' Nikle The Kabhi Hum Ghar Se' shows the pain of the characters- Hardy, Manu, Buggu, and Balli who are away from their homes and yearn to see their families and loved ones.

Shah Rukh called the song his 'favourite' from the film. He penned a long note as he shared it on social media.

''Aaj aise hi dil mein aaya yeh gaana toh aapke saath share kar raha hoon…
Raju aur Sonu naam se hi lagte hain ke apne hi koi honge. Aur yeh gaana joh dono ne banaya hai, yeh bhi apnon ka hai. Apne ghar waalon ki yaadon ka hai…apni mitti ka hai…apne desh ki baahon mein sukoon milne ka hai. Hum sab kabhi na kabhi apne ghar se…gaon se…shehar se door nikal jaate hain…zindagi banane ke liye…lekin dil hamaara apne gharon mein hi rehta hai…desh mein hi rehta hai.
Mera favourite from Dunki….,'' wrote Khan.

Apart from Shah Rukh and Taapsee Pannu, the film also has Boman Irani, Vicky Kaushal, Vikram Kochhar, and Anil Grover among others. It is all set to hit the screens on December 22, 2023.
