I have always believed that success is about more than ambition, wealth or social standing. It is equally about character, discipline, self-awareness and the willingness to keep learning. My book, The Wisdom Doctrine, released in October 2026, brings together principles I have gathered through business, education, family, faith, failure and observation. Across fifty compact chapters, I explore leadership, financial independence, health, relationships, spirituality, reputation and the everyday choices that shape who we become.

I did not set out to write a conventional self-help book. Instead, I wanted to create a personal handbook of ideas that have influenced my decisions and helped me understand life more clearly. Some lessons emerged through experience; others came from observing people, questioning established beliefs or recognising mistakes I could have avoided.

My own experiences have taught me that growth rarely follows a perfectly planned path. I remember struggling with public speaking at Carnegie Mellon, learning difficult lessons from financial missteps, confronting unhealthy sleep habits and navigating the challenges of building businesses. I have revisited religious traditions in which I was raised, examining what I believe and why. These experiences have reinforced my conviction that self-improvement begins with honesty by acknowledging limitations, learning from mistakes and changing course when necessary.

Several principles form the foundation of my worldview. I believe in lifelong learning, earned reputation, financial independence, discipline and personal wellbeing. Ambition is important, but it must be balanced with restraint. The healthy habits we cultivate every day ultimately influence performance, while the connection between our thoughts, words and actions determines much of our character.

I have tried to translate business principles into practical lessons for everyday life. Networking, specialisation, time management, research and capital formation are not merely corporate concepts; they can help us make better decisions and use our resources more effectively. My digital ventures, including InfoProfile, InfoToDo and InfoQueries, are proof to my interest in organising information, strengthening networks and making knowledge more useful.

Another idea that runs through the book is the social contract. I believe our actions rarely affect only ourselves. How we behave influences the trust we earn, the relationships we build and the communities of which we are a part. Reputation, therefore, is not something we can simply claim, but establish through consistent conduct.

My reflections extend to Jainism, atheism, karma, vegetarianism, monogamy, privacy, philanthropy and political leadership. These are subjects on which people may hold very different views. I do not expect every reader to agree with my conclusions. Rather, I hope the book encourages readers to question their assumptions and develop a considered understanding of their own principles.

Writing The Wisdom Doctrine has also reminded me that no philosophy is complete or beyond refinement. Some lessons recur because discipline, self-control and mental clarity require continuous attention. What matters is remaining open to correction.

Ultimately, I believe personal growth is a lifelong responsibility. We must remain curious, build competence, protect our reputation, manage our impulses and treat others with respect. What we can do is learn from experience, act with intention and keep becoming better versions of ourselves.
