While 70.43 per cent of boy students passed the examinations, the percentage of girls, who cleared the tests, was 85.66, the official said.
Addressing a press conference, WBSCHSE president Chiranjib Bhattacharya said that among boys, 91.86 per cent were successful while the pass percentage among girls was 87.26.
Imphal West district has the maximum number of students appearing in the examination at 12,749 while Pherzawl district has the least number of students with 18 candidates appearing in the examination, COHSEM officials said.
