Prajanchai PK Saenchai is once again the undisputed ONE Strawweight Muay Thai World Champion.

On December 22 at ONE Friday Fights 46: Tawanchai vs. Superbon, the 29-year-old Thai exacted his revenge against Joseph “The Hurricane” Lasiri in front of a wild crowd at Bangkok’s Lumpinee Boxing Stadium.

Tensions ran high before the World Title unification bout, as the Italian-Moroccan titleholder danced his way into the ring, gladly staring down the interim champ before the opening bell.

For his part, Prajanchai came into the contest hoping to erase the memories of his May 2022 World Title loss to Lasiri and regain the undisputed crown he once held.

He needed just 88 seconds to do that in emphatic fashion.

After a brief feeling-out period, “The Hurricane” blitzed forward with an aggressive combination, only to be met with a bone-shattering left elbow from the Prajanchai. Lasiri immediately fell to the canvas, clutching his face and unable to continue.

The Bangkok crowd roared in delight as a jubilant Prajanchai celebrated his massive World Title unification victory, finally redeeming himself after the most crushing defeat of his career.

In addition to 26 pounds of undisputed gold, the highlight-reel stoppage earned the Thai superstar a US$50,000 performance bonus, courtesy of ONE Chairman and CEO Chatri Sityodtong.
