The International Cricket Council (ICC) is all set to host the Men's U-19 Cricket World Cup 2024, starting from Friday, January 19. However, before the tournament kicks-off, all the participating teams will lock horns in warm-up matches beginning from Saturday, January 13. All 16 participating teams in the event, are divided into groups of four each. India, Bangladesh, Ireland and the USA are in Group A. Group B sees England, South Africa, West Indies and Scotland. In Group C sees Australia, Sri Lanka, Zimbabwe and Namibia whereas Group D has Afghanistan, Pakistan, New Zealand and Nepal.

Each team will play two warm-up games each. As for Team India, the Uday Saharan-led side will play two warm-up matches - Australia on January 13 and Sri Lanka on January 17. They are the defending champions, as they beat England U-19 in the 2022 edition by four wickets.
