Malaysia stormed to a dominant 10-wicket victory over Qatar via the DLS method in their ICC Women's T20 World Cup Asia Qualifier 2025 encounter on Friday, May 16, at the Terdthai Cricket Ground in Bangkok.

In a rain-shortened 17-over match, Qatar's batting lineup crumbled, managing just 39 runs in 16.3 overs. Malaysia's sharp fielding resulted in five run-outs, and not a single Qatari batter reached double figures in a disappointing display.

Chasing a modest revised target, Malaysia made light work of the total. Openers Ainna Hashim (19) and Wan Julia (13) sealed the win in just 3.5 overs, finishing at 41/0 to complete a crushing 10-wicket triumph.
