In the end, SRH fans had the last laugh as they beat LSG by six wickets to end the play-off hopes of the Lucknow franchise. LSG put 205/7 batting first but the target was chased down by SRH with 10 balls remaining in the contest.
LSG's hopes of making it to the top four are now over and they have become the fifth team of the season to get eliminated. SRH were already out of the race to top four.
