Indian Men's, Women's Teams Meet King Charles After Lord’s Thriller - In Pics

A day after their narrow 22-run defeat to England at Lord’s, India’s men’s and women’s cricket teams met King Charles III at St. James’s Palace in London. Players from both sides, including Shubman Gill, Rishabh Pant, Jasprit Bumrah, and Harmanpreet Kaur, shared light moments with the monarch in the calm setting of Clarence House Garden. The visit brought both squads together for a rare royal interaction. The women’s team, led by Harmanpreet, are set for the ODI series starting Wednesday after a hard-fought 3-2 T20I series win, their first ever in England. As the men prepare for the fourth Test at Old Trafford on July 23, the meeting offered a timely breather.
