Bollywood actor Swara Bhasker and political leader Fahad Ahmad tied the knot recently and on March 19,the couple had their Walima hosted by the groom's family. For the occasion, the Veere Di Wedding star wore a heavy lehenga designed by Pakistani designer Ali Xeeshan. In a new Twitter note, Swara thanked the designer and revealed how her outfit came from Lahore. She also mentioned how the designer had engraved personalised messages into it.

Sharing the details of the outfit in her tweet, Swara Bhasker posted new close-up photos. The actress talked thanked the Pakistani designer and praised his talent and hard work behind her outfit. She shared that her Walima lehenga was flown from Lahore. “My Walima outfit came all the way from Lahore via Dubai- Bombay-Delhi finally to Bareilly! I’ve long marvelled at the talent of Ali Xeeshan. When I called him with an idea of wearing his work at Walima, his warmth and generosity made me admire the person (sic),” Swara wrote in a tweet.

She further wrote, "Ali Xeeshan not only sent Jodi outfits for @FahadZirarAhmad & me, but customised them painstakingly with personalised details & messages embroidered into the exquisite garments. My sarhad-paar ki bestie @Natrani came to our rescue & enabled the outfits to reach Dubai (sic)."
