Sapogenix is one of several bodybuilding supplements out there that use the power of plant steroids. In this complete Sapogenix review, you going to tell all you need to know.

It can be a little confusing because there are many types of plant steroids in use. Also, there is a fundamental question that has to be convincingly answered: can steroids from plants really tell the human body to grow muscle?

So, this is everything you need to know. The full lowdown and guide on using plant steroids, as well as a complete Sapogenix review.

Plant Steroids Explained

Sapogenins is the name for plant steroids, a range of over 500 different types of steroid that have been found in plants since at least the 1950s.

The best known of these is called Ecdysterone, followed by Laxogenin. Mostly, that’s because those two plant steroids are the ones that are most included in bodybuilding supplements.

There are two theories on how they can produce effects in the human body as well:

1.    They are structurally similar to androgens, most closely testosterone. It’s theorized that they work as a partial agonist of the androgen receptor in the body, producing anabolic effects. However, because there is no evidence that the body starts depleting its own production, this theory is not proven at all.

2.    Another theory, observed in a couple of studies, is that plant steroid actually up-regulate mechanisms in our body that help to promote increased levels of protein synthesis. This is what underpins the hormonal growth of muscle tissue. It could be that this operating protein synthesis not only allows muscle tissue to grow faster and more densely but also then encourages higher levels of androgens.

Sapogenix: What Plant Steroids Are In It?

Now we understand a little more about what plant steroids actually are, let’s look at the Huge Supplements Sapogenix supplement specifically. What’s in it?

These are the plant steroids and derivatives included:
•    Dioscorea Makino 50-67:1 Extract (Rhizome and aerial parts) (standardized to 6-keto-diosgenin, Spirosanol saponins, Furastanolic saponins, 5R-Spirost-4-ene-3, 6-diol)
•    Progenin III
•    Psuedoprotodioscin
•    Methyl Protodioscin
•    Dioscin
•    Protodioscin
•    Iridoid Glycosides

In total, there are six different types of extracted plant steroids in it. These are genuine plant steroids extracted from various types of plant.
You will find variants of both Ecdysterone and Laxogenin in Sapogenix. So this is a potent supplement, with each capsule containing 250 mg of sapogenins.

Do Plant Steroids Work? Where’s The Evidence?

Upfront here, I have to say in any Sapogenix review that the human testing on plant steroids for the purposes of building muscle is still sporadic.

But there are studies out there showing that plant steroids both mimic androgens, and up regulate protein synthesis.

But, for me, the clincher is this anecdotal story from history.

Back in the 1970s, the Soviet Union was giving plant steroids to nearly all of its athletes. The athletes referred to it as the “Russian secret”, and in interviews, many still do. If this stuff didn’t work, why would they call it that?

In a 30 year program, these undetectable steroids apparently gave Russian athletes and edge in body development programs.

So, for me, that’s the perfect evidence that plant steroids really do work in humans.

What Sort Of Realistic Results Can You Expect From Plant Steroids?

Whether it’s a Laxogenin bodybuilding supplement or a supplement that uses one or more other Sapogenins, the key question is: what results are realistic, and over what timescale? I’ve used these for several cycles over the past three or four years, and I can tell you that they are not as potent as SARMs. They do not have such a strong anabolic output.

But what’s realistic then?

Well, for me, it took a couple of weeks to kick in. But I did start to feel stronger and more energized around this time with my workouts.
Then, the full effects that I know I feel from androgenic SARMs started to kick in, but at a lower level:

•    A stronger sense of purpose and determination
•    More energy and drive
•    I recovered faster even after more reps
•    Muscle mass and density better than natural development
•    Fat burning (cutting) enhanced

So, whatever the hell you think is happening to make this work, for me, plant steroids definitely seem to have androgenic effects in my body.

They are definitely worth a cycle to trial, especially if you want better natural development but don’t want to use SARMs all the time.

In addition, plant steroids have been shown to have the following general benefits:
•    Anti-inflammatory
•    Anabolic
•    Antitumor
•    Increased protein synthesis
•    Better blood sugar management

How To Use Sapogenix: Daily Dose & Best Cycle Length

Sapogenix capsules contain 250 mg of various plant steroids. The daily dose is two capsules. So, you’re getting a really strong daily dose of 500 mg of plant steroids.

There are no instructions on when you take each of these, but I would suggest first thing in the morning when you get up, and then mid-afternoon, giving yourself a good split through the day.

In terms of cycle length, the company says you can run this for up to 12 weeks. I probably wouldn’t go that long the first time out, but eight weeks is how long I use Sapogenix for each cycle.

Remember, because it doesn’t impact your testosterone levels, you can run this alongside SARMs, or even post cycle to offset some of the drops you can experience if you’re using androgenic SARMs. I’ll talk more about using plant steroids with SARMs in a moment.

My Experiences Using Laxogenin Bodybuilding Supplements (And Others)

So, let’s cut to the meat here. What are the sort of realistic results you can achieve from Sapogenin bodybuilding supplements?

In the first couple of weeks, you won’t really notice any difference. This is subtle and takes time to build up in the body and produce notable results.

But, after a couple of weeks, I noted that I was starting to feel far more energized during my workouts. I was also recovering slightly faster. I felt more positive, and basically, overall, I felt as I do with my testosterone levels are peaking.

After a month of working out harder, I noted weight gain that wasn’t fat gain. I knew it wasn’t because of my diet and management.

Therefore, I put on 5 lbs. of lean muscle mass in that time. That’s pretty good, especially as it was no water in this at all, it was just hard muscle gain. There was also fat cutting. I noted I was far more trimmed around my middle, which is where I usually struggled when I was natural bodybuilding between SARMs cycles for a few months.

Overall, this is subtle. But, over one or two cycles you will definitely notice a difference, especially if you stack different sapogenins together.

How To Stack Plant Steroids The Maximum Gains

I like to stack SARMs because you get the maximum returns from the effort you put in. That’s the same when I use Sapogenix, or another type of Laxogenin bodybuilding supplement.

Because they are safe, you can stack them with SARMs, or use them in a stack with other plant steroids.

Huge Supplements actually sell different plant steroid supplements together at a slightly cheaper rate to help you do this easily.

Sapogenix is the perfect starting point. You could then stack it with the Huge Supplements Ecdysterone supplement for maximum returns.

Then, you can also experiment with stacking a plant steroid with SARMs. They will give you an additional increase in androgenic areas, but without putting any more stress on your testosterone production.

So, my recommendation is to initially test them on their own, and then try them in a stack. The more you can stack together, the more you will see great results that are far in excess of what you can achieve through natural bodybuilding.

How To Use Sapogenix & Other Plant Steroids With SARMs

Using a plant steroid supplement like Sapogenix at the same time as SARMs can be a really good strategy. It increases your returns with no additional stress on your body. That has to be a good thing.

Plus, you can continue to run them (or start running them) post cycle from SARMs use.

That way, you are continuing to gain, offsetting some of the problems with testosterone drop, and generally smoothing things over between SARMs cycles.
Another thing you can do to boost your sapogenin use is by underpinning it with an energizing SARM-related chemicals.

GW-501516 Cardarine and SR-9009 Stenabolic are two of the most popular energizing research chemicals. They are not SARMs; they do not produce androgenic results in the body.

But what both of them do is up-regulate available energy for expenditure rapidly. So, underpinning a stack of plant steroids with one of these will give you an increase in energy would really help you to bulk or cut with no additional stress or risk.

Sapogenix Before & After Photos: How Much Can You Trust Them?

Generally, I don’t trust before and after photos, regardless of the supplement or who has published them. The reasoning is simple. Even though they may not be scamming you, you just don’t know if the results they have achieved are typical.

How long were they using them? Were they using other supplements? Did the body respond in a typical way? You just have no idea.

If you really want to see Sapogenix before and after photos, then take a look at the product page on the Huge Supplements website.

Not only will you see lots of user reviews, but many of those reviews post images of their results, and some before and after images as well.

But for me, you really have to try things for yourself to see how you respond. Otherwise, you just don’t know. You could see other people getting poor returns, and then you could find the supplement is incredible; everyone’s body and determination levels are different.

Sapogenix Vs Halo Laxogenin Bodybuilding Supplement

RedCon1 is another popular bodybuilding supplement producer. Their plant steroid product is called “Halo”.

Halo contains 100 mg of plant extract. That means there’s a 100 mg dose of Chinese Similax plant root extract in every capsule.

But here’s the thing. Although that’s the main plant that Laxogenin is derived from, you are not getting 100 mg of that plant steroid. There is no claim on that, only that you are getting a 100 mg dose of the plant the root is extracted from.

So God only knows what dose you are getting, but it’s certainly not going to be 100 mg of Laxogenin!

Compare that to Sapogenix, where each capsule is a guaranteed 250 mg of six different plant steroids.

In terms of price, Halo is $49.99, compared to Sapogenix which retails at $99.99.

So, Sapogenix is twice the price, but you are getting 2.5 times the dose in every capsule, an overall gain of 0.5 times the total dose per 60 tablet bottle, and significantly more dosage in terms of actual plant steroids.

Really, the two are incomparable. Although on the surface Sapogenix is more expensive, the total dose you are getting is so much more, and the six different types of extracted plant steroids have a better chance of hitting you from all angles, meaning is just a far better choice.

Sapogenix Buyers Guide & Review Conclusion

The conclusion of my Sapogenix review is that this is definitely the most potent mid-range plant steroid performance supplement you can buy.

Simply take two capsules each day, and you are getting a total extracted dose of 500 mg of six different types of plant steroids. Bought directly from Huge Supplements , you can save $20 on buying a stack of Sapogenix and Ecdysterone capsules together.

On its own, eight weeks use of Sapogenix (a perfect beginner’s cycle), is going to cost you $200. Watch out for discount coupon codes which are often published on the website though.
