Six months after she was arrested by Mumbai police for “shooting sleazy videos”, its crime branch has filed a case against model-actress Gehana Vasisth (33) following Raj Kundra’s arrest, for allegedly making porn for his company. The Gandi Baat actress tells Neeraj Jha it’s all rubbish. Excerpts:
From getting arrested for “obscene videos”, to allegations you intimidated two girls into porn....
If their claim is true, media should ask them to release clips of those movies. It will become clear if I’ve exploited them in any way. I’m a woman myself. They get paid as per agreement. Neither did we film porn, nor was there any controversy on set. After five months in jail, there is no evidence against me. There are over 2,000 porn sites on Google. Why is no action taken against them? I’ve created erotic content. If action is taken against erotica, it should be against all OTTs.

There is nothing obscene in Madhoshi, not even a kiss. I worked on it as per script. I don’t know whether the same OTT also made porn or not. I don’t even know where they released my content.

I was in jail for five months. It was my family and friends who helped me come out. Had I been wrong, no one would’ve supported me.

You’ll find semi-nude or nude photos and videos all over social media profiles of the accusers. And why are they filing for anticipatory bail?

Of course, but truth will come out. Everyone is making fake allegations to frame us. Three of my bank accounts, containing all the money I’ve earned over 11 years, are frozen. I’m surviving on loans.

Is it alright to make porn?
No. And the Centre should completely ban porn. But action should be unbiased.
Are youth eyeing a break in Bollywood lured into porn?
Can anyone be coerced into porn? Are they kids? These allegations are being made just to extort or blackmail.
