“Chandrashekhar is not the leader of any one society, but of the whole society and stands with every person who is fighting for the truth. Be it the farmer’s movement or the fight of the wrestlers,” he said.

He further said that Chandrasekhar had extended their full support to the wrestlers protest.

Condemning the attack on Chandrashekher as 'shameful', Sakshi Malik said, “The police should immediately identify and arrest the assailants.”

Superintendent of Police (City) Abimanyu Manglik said the Bhim Army chief was undergoing treatment at the district hospital of Saharanpur and his condition was stable.

In a video message on Wednesday night, Azad advised his supporters to remain calm and asserted that he will keep on fighting constitutionally.
