PM Modi Unveils Rs 12,000 Crore Development Projects In Varanasi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed a public rally in Varanasi, his parliamentary constituency, where he highlighted the BJP government's commitment to welfare schemes that are grounded in reality and directly benefit the people. He emphasized the need for schemes that address ground realities and expressed satisfaction in engaging with the beneficiaries to gather feedback and ensure the effectiveness of the initiatives.

In addition to his speech, PM Modi inaugurated and laid the foundation stones for 29 development projects worth Rs 12,100 crores in Varanasi. Notably, he launched the Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Junction-Son Nagar railway line, a part of the Dedicated Freight Corridor. This new line, built at a cost of over Rs 6,760 crore, will facilitate faster and more efficient movement of goods, bolstering economic growth in the region.

Earlier in Gorakhpur, the Prime Minister participated in the closing ceremony of the centenary celebrations of Gita Press and inaugurated two new Vande Bharat Express trains. Throughout his visit to both cities, PM Modi underscored the government's commitment to development, unveiling multiple projects that will contribute to the progress of Varanasi and the surrounding districts.

The presence of Uttar Pradesh Governor Anandiben Patel and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath further emphasized the importance of these initiatives.
