To instruct FCI to accept paddy of Swarnamasuri (MTU7029) and other similar varieties like MTU 2716, MTU 2067, MTU 5293 of paddy as Grade 'A', without insisting on length and breadth ratio.

To accept the above varieties of paddy meant for boiled rice also as Grade 'A'.

To procure paddy vigorously in all the markets till the minimum support price (MSP) is ensured to farmers throughout the state.

FCI to procure 10 lakh tonnes of rice per month from December 2000 onwards.

To export 20 lakh tonnes of rice by giving suitable concessions to the crop on par with wheat.

FCI to transport at least 5 lakh tonnes of rice to other states for creating storage space for the rice being procured locally.

FCI to hire additional storage space of at least 5 lakh tonnes immediately.

Adequate technical staff and supervisory officers to be deployed to undertake the entire programme in a strict and precise time-bound manner.

Operational problem at market level to be attended to by participating in daily auctions and by paying through bearer cheques on the day of procurement.
