A militant was killed as security forces foiled an infiltration bid along the Line of Control (LoC) in the Kupwara district of Jammu and Kashmir, officials said on Thursday.
The preceding night, based on a specific input generated by the police, the joint team of the Army and the Police intercepted an infiltrating group in the Saidpora forward area, around 100 km north in the Kupwara district.
