India has reported 3,962 new coronavirus cases, and the number of active cases has reduced to 36,244 from 40,177, according to the latest data from the Union Health Ministry. The country's Covid-19 death toll has reached 5,31,606 with 22 new deaths, including seven reconciled by Kerala. The total number of cases in India has reached 4.49 crore (4,49,60,678). The ministry's data reveals that the active cases make up 0.08% of the total infections, and the country's Covid-19 recovery rate is 98.73%. A total of 4,43,92,828 people have recovered from the disease, and the case fatality rate was recorded at 1.18%.
