Crude oil futures on Monday declined by 3.42 per cent to Rs 6,095 per barrel as participants trimmed their positions on low demand.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, crude oil for December delivery fell by Rs 216 or 3.42 per cent to Rs 6,095 per barrel in a business volume of 20,334 lots. Globally, West Texas Intermediate crude oil was trading 2.48 per cent lower at USD 74.39 per barrel, and Brent crude was down 2.57 per cent to USD 81.48 per barrel in New York.
