From the gaffer who lights up the set to the set dresser who resets the pillow covers, each person is an essential part of the story being told, the film being seen.

We bring to the limelight, some of these anonymous workers – the backbones of any film.

She wanted to be an architect but became a photojournalist in Mumbai. For Meenal Agarwal, 52, now a production designer, it was her interest in narrative photography that led her to explore backgrounds. Agarwal is now an established production designer and is known for her work in Qala (2022), Ankhon Dekhi (2013), Pari (2018) and Dum Laga Ke Haisha (2015).
