Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) leader Ajit Pawar on Sunday split the party and joined the Eknath Shinde-led Maharashtra government. Eight other NCP leaders, including Chhagan Bhujbal, also took oaths as ministers. This is the fifth time that he has become the Deputy CM of Maharashtra.
