Ciara and Russell Wilson's family is set to grow by one: they're expecting their third child. The singer announced her pregnancy on Instagram on August 8th, with a video of her showcasing a developing baby belly as she dances in front of a pool, writing, “You look at me like that again, we make another kid…You my heart I'm your rib”.
The “Level Up” singer has three children: Sienna Princess Wilson, 6, Win Harrison Wilson, 3, with Russell, and Future Zahir Wilburn, nine, with ex-boyfriend rapper Future (Nayvadius DeMun Wilburn).
Russell made it known that he wanted to grow their family before the pregnancy announcement.
The athlete appeared on stage as a special guest while Ciara was guest presenting The Ellen DeGeneres Show in March 2022. He carried a crucial question for his wife with him: "Can we have more babies?" Ciara then burst out laughing and said, "We definitely can," before adding, "I'm down to do it again with you."
Russell got down on one knee to ask Ciara for her hand in marriage in March 2016. The couple married in July of that year in a ceremony at Peckforton Castle in Cheshire, England.
The news spread quickly on social media, as fans of both Russell Wilson and Ciara were taken aback. Russell and Ciara rushed to social media to post a video that the quarterback shot himself. Ciara is shown standing over a pool in the video, with only her silhouette visible. She then turns to show off her burgeoning pregnant belly. Both used lyrics from her new track "How We Roll" as the caption for their big news.
Ciara Princess Wilson is a singer and songwriter. Her first album, Goodies, was released on September 28, 2004, and three of its singles - "1, 2 Step", "Goodies", and "Oh" - charted in the top three on the Billboard Hot 100. The album opened at number three on the Billboard 200 list, selling almost 125,000 copies in its first week. In addition, the album has sold more than three million copies in the United States and five million copies globally.
Wilson and Ciara struck a multi-year partnership with Amazon Studios in 2021. According to the arrangement, the couple will produce new content for the streaming platform, including scripted and unscripted episodes and shows.
