Internationally acclaimed Indian culinary innovator Chef Sanjay Thakur, celebrated for pushing the boundaries of modern gastronomy, has been honoured with La Liste Innovation Award 2025, a recognition reserved for the world’s most groundbreaking culinary minds. This milestone joins an already impressive portfolio of global achievements that define Chef Thakur as one of the most influential chefs of his generation.
Chef Thakur’s journey is decorated with some of the most prestigious honours in the culinary world. He is a Guinness World Record holder for creating the World’s Highest Pop-Up Restaurant, a Bocuse d’Or India representative, and the Chef of the Year 2024 (Saudi Arabia) awarded by the Hotel & Hospitality Expo. He has also won the Dates Connection Global Challenge in Milan, served as a TEDx Speaker, collaborated as Guest Chef at COP28 and COP30, and mentored young culinary talents as Saudi Elite Chefs Mentor 2025.
