Ad jingles promoting consumer products will replace telephone dial tone.

Similar print ads will grace postal stationery, letterboxes, mailvans and post offices.

Like petrol pumps, post offices will also sell private stationery, cards and gift items, even hot and cold beverages.

Private sector to set up collection centres for Speedpost.

Mobile post offices even in cities and towns to vend stationery and stamps.

Doorstep mail collection and vending.

Telephone booking on phone and internet.

Rural phone network to be run by private sector.

Telecom dhabas soon in every block.
