Uorfi Javed has expressed her anger on social media after she was uninvited to an event for not being on Madhuri Dixit’s guest list. Uorfi, on Instagram, shared how she was earlier invited for Global Excellence Awards, but at the last minute, she was informed that she has not been invited to it now.

Sharing the news on Instagram, Uorfi wrote, “Fun fact about this event – they reached out to my team, inviting me, I accepted the invitation, cancelled my plans, arranged my outfit, and at the last moment they told my team I'm no longer invited. When we asked them the reason, they said I am not on Madhuri's guest list (what a weird reason). Bhai main mar nahi rahi kahi jaane k liye, but to tell someone at the last moment not to come after inviting them. Grow some b**** or borrow from me."

She also posted a video of Madhuri Dixit at the event. An explanation by the organisers on the matter is still pending.

Meanwhile, this is not the first time that Uorfi has taken a stand for herself. Even when she is trolled for her fashion, she makes sure to hit back at the trolls.

Uorfi, who rose to fame on social media for her unique style, recently also revealed that despite her popularity, she has not been able to get a house on rent in Mumbai. During an interview with Humans of Bombay, she had mentioned, “I am still not able to find a house on rent. The owner, society, wants to be your parents- You can’t do this, that, can’t get boys home, can’t cook non veg. Really?! Focus on your kids. You’re renting me your house, not becoming my relative, so let’s keep it like that. The reason (for not getting house on rent) is because I am single. Second, I am a Muslim. Now, Hindu owners have a problem that I am a Muslim and even Muslim owners have a problem that I will wear such clothes and it wouldn’t sit well in their community. So that’s their problem.”
