Dinesh Phadnis Aka Fredericks From ‘CID’

The popular Fredericks from the blockbuster hit show ‘CID’ had to be rushed to the hospital after the actor suffered from a massive heart attack. Not many people know that his real-life name is Dinesh Phadnis. He has been admitted to a suburban Mumbai hospital, the Tunga Hospital.

As per a report on IMWBuzz Dinesh Phadnis is in a very critical condition and is on a ventilator battling for his life. The report further mentions that the entire cast and crew of ‘CID’ have been informed, and many of the close ones of Phadnis are coming to the hospital at regular intervals to check up on his condition.

For the unversed, Dinesh Phadnis played the popular character of Fredericks in ‘CID’ from 1998 to 2018. The actor brought in a fun and comic element to the rather serious detective show. He was one of the very few in the cast who stayed the longest duration on the show. He has also worked in quite a few films.

As per the latest reports, his condition is on the improve.
