Isuzu India will be increasing the prices of its D-Max pickup truck by 2 to 3 per cent. This translates into an effective increase ranging from Rs 20,000 to Rs 50,000 on the ex-showroom price.

The D-Max is sold in two variants for the commercial buyers: an S cab and a Single cab version. Aimed at the passenger segment is the V-Cross which is sold in a Standard variant which currently retails at Rs 14.29 lakh, whereas the High variant is priced at Rs 15.79 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). The price rise has been attributed to rising input and distribution costs.

Isuzu has not informed us of any hike on the prices on its flagship mu-X SUV, which is expected to receive an update within the next few months.

Here’s what the company stated in its official statement:

Press Release:

ISUZU to increase price of D-MAX Pick-ups from September 2018

The price increase will be in the range of Rs. 20,000/- to Rs. 50,000/- (ex-showroom), across variants. The increase in price is due to the increasing input and distribution costs.
