Mumbai on Friday reported three new coronavirus infections which took the city's caseload to 11,63,951, the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) said.
Mumbai's coronavirus recovery rate stood at 98.3 per cent, while the growth rate of cases between May 2 and May 8 was 0.0054 per cent, it said.
On Tuesday, the local civic body said, Mumbai logged four new Covid-19 cases taking the overall tally to 11,55,252, while no fresh death linked to the infection was registered in the metropolis.
The death toll remained unchanged at 19,773, said a BMC bulletin.
In Chhattisgarh on Wednesday, No new coronavirus infection or pandemic-related death was reported, health officials said.
The state health department reported 27 new COVID-19 cases on Tuesday, bringing the total to 81,36,230, and no new deaths were reported.
