There was no report of any casualty, he said. The blaze erupted around 1 pm on the ground floor of the building being constructed opposite the Esplanade House in Kala Ghoda area here, the official from the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) said.
The fire has so far killed at least 27 people, while 29 are still reported to be missing, according to officials.

Around 60-70 people have been rescued, but some are still trapped inside, said police.
Speaking to reporters, Indore Police Commissioner Harinarayana Chari Mishra said that the fire might have started through a short circuit.
