During the ongoing Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy 2023, Punjab scripted it's name in the record books by slamming a record total in the tournament. Punjab batters sent the Andhra bowlers to all corners of the ground as they slammed 275 in Ranchi, all thanks to Abhishek Sharma's 51-ball century (112) and Anmolpreet Singh who scored 87 off mere 26 deliveries. By doing so, Punjab's total is the highest in Indian T20 cricket (SMAT or IPL) and fourth highest overall in T20 cricket history.(ODI World Cup | Cricket News)

Punjab also broke the record previously held by Mumbai against Sikkim in 2019 when they had smashed 258 back then.
