The fixture is the first on Saturday in the Scottish Premiership to be beaten by the weather, while Ross County v Hibernian will go ahead following an earlier pitch inspection.

The Scottish League One match between Arbroath and Kelty Hearts was also postponed on Friday night due to storm damage.

Celtic's game, meanwhile, has been rearranged for February 5.

"Unfortunately, due to the stadium damage sustained yesterday we have been advised that we are unable to proceed with today's match," the top-flight leaders announced.

"While clearly this is disappointing, the safety of our supporters will always be our priority."

Greenock Morton are another club who have suffered "significant damage" to their home ground, with general manager Dale Pryde-MacDonald confirming the issues to Cappielow Park.

Morton face Queen's Park away from home in the Championship on Saturday, while Pryde-MacDonald said: "A full and accurate assessment of the damage will be conducted in the coming days".
