Mr. Patel is an American Indian based in New York and has many feathers in his cap which includes entrepreneurship, a film maker & a philanthropist.. Joining Mr. Patel’s vision and passion for sports is none other than Randeep Hooda an actor by profession but an athlete at heart.
The ‘Highway’ actor has always been inclined towards sports & an equestrian himself, Randeep has won the silver medal in the National Equestrian Championship in 2019.
It’s refreshing to see that apart from cricket which is considered as religion in india , other sports are getting highlighted and recognised.
Putting India on the world map for ice skating which has a limited scope was a very brave choice. Fortune favours the brave and this time it has favoured India’s first-ever skater, Vishwaraj Jadeja who represented India at the World Cup 2022 and won laurels for the same.
Vishwaraj comes from a family rich in sports and they have many medals and trophies in their kitty.. He also decided to follow the footsteps of his family with a very unique choice of sports and against all odds he emerged victorious.. Hanging on thin ice (pun intended) he never lost sight of what was important..
Jadeja has represented India numerous times and has won many medals. The fight and journey still continues as his main objective is to bring home the gold and make India proud.
Over the years many have rejected Jadejas proposals as they didn’t believe his prudent approach of this adventurous sport, but he never gave up..
Mr. Patel and Mr. Hooda who believed in Jadeja and the future of this unconventional sport joined hands to sponsor him. Vishwaraj has 71 National records for India and the only Indian to athlete to have successful track record at the European Ice Skating circuit.
