Tibetans living in exile in Himachal Pradesh's Dharamshala on Friday marked the 62nd anniversary of the Tibetan Parliament-in-Exile. They observe the day as Democracy Day. A large number of Tibetans fled from Tibet to India in 1959 along with their leader the Dalai Lama after a failed uprising against the Chinese who had invaded and annexed Tibet by force in 1949-50.
