Panda vs The State

Industrial Development Corporation of Orissa (IDCOL) chairman Hrushikesh Panda’s suspension has kicked off a legal battle. Panda claims he is being victimised for his fight against corruption. Suspended allegedly for misbehaving with state SC and ST welfare minister Balabhadra Majhi and Barbil MLA Saharai Oram while they were staying at the guesthouse of Kalinga Irons Works, Panda went to court. The suspension was quashed but now the government has challenged the decision in the SC. Panda, though, is already a hero.
