The Sofres-MODE poll was conducted in five centres spread across Bihar—Patna, Ranchi, Jamshedpur, Katihar and Saharsa between September 21 and 23. An overwhelming number (74 per cent) of the 603 adult respondents polled wants the Rabri Devi government dismissed; 72 per cent favour the imposition of President's rule and a large majority, 70 per cent, say Laloo Yadav is personally corrupt. As many as 82 per cent feel that the law and order situation is serious cause for concern; and 76 per cent say there is a financial crisis in the state.
